I was living in France at the time when my mother had a stroke that left her with cognitive issues and my father was well along on his journey with dementia. It was clear my parents could no longer live independently; I was devastated, overwhelmed and too far away (I was living in France at the time). Liz stepped in and helped me tackle one thing at a time and she managed things so well I didn’t have to worry about the financial piece. She knew how to work around my father’s dementia so as not to alarm him (eg. discreetly picking up the mail form the home). I had peace of mind and full confidence that she was on top of every financial piece of my parents’ lives, from taxes to bill pay to insurance, cash flow, etc. Liz is supremely well organized, financially savvy and able to explain things clearly. Over the 3-1/2 years as my parents’ health declined and my mother, them my father, passed away, Liz was there every step of the way to offer valuable guidance about the actions that needed to be taken.
